Sherlock NetworkKnow what joins your network.

A dedicated network discovery product for your Sherlock organization. Configure a local scanner, discover responding devices on private subnets, and review newly seen devices from one workspace.

Open Sherlock Network

Recurring discovery

Check configured IPv4 subnets at intervals from 5 minutes to 24 hours. Scanner status and failed runs stay visible.

Device inventory

Review IP addresses, observed MAC addresses, discovery ports, and first and last seen times.

New-device review

New devices stay in an unreviewed queue until a technician or administrator marks them reviewed.

Built for discovery

Network uses a local Python scanner with ICMP and limited TCP connection probes. Add private IPv4 ranges explicitly; no scans run before you configure and enable a scanner. It does not perform vulnerability exploitation or install software on discovered devices.

Devices that block probes can be missed. MAC visibility depends on the scanner's network position. This initial release supports up to 1024 configured addresses per scanner. Network access is separate from AI and RMM; no Network checkout or billing plan is configured yet.
